My name is Julie and I have lost 117lbs! I have about 30lbs left to go. I am on my last round. Yay!!! I have your cookbook to get me through my last 40 days! I have never ….EVER done anything like this in my entire life. I always say, where have you been all this time? What a successful way of living! I’m amazed at what HCG has done for me. I’m so excited to use your cookbook. Absolutely love your workbook! Thank You for that as well!
What a fantastic tool!! I enjoyed it so much that it is on my phone as well! Yes, a real fan!!
Thank You for the interviews on your website and podcasts. I listen to them daily! Even repeat the ones that I feel I mirror.
Once again, thank you so much

I really love your recipes. I have been a long time HCG user. I lost 100 pounds over 4 years ago, and maintained it. But then pandemic life happened, and I have gained about 40 back. I have loved your recipes and making me excited about this lifestyle again. RIght now I am P2, and I am probably on the AP list of foods. I try to keep my rounds VERY low carb. I eat a lot of veggies and meats and sometime berries.
I love your site. Well worth it.

I love it. But I have to substitute the meats for soy but it is still working. I am using all and it is working out well for me.

I am loving the recipes that I’ve tried so far. Your Meatza is yummy!
I’m doing the LSP but thinking of changing to SP because I’m not
losing the way I had hoped.
Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to the HCG diet and
lifestyle and for sharing your wealth of knowledge with us. It’s young
women like you that make the world a better place! Thank you again!

This is my 3rd time doing HCG. First time was a long time ago and I was very strict on the plan. A few years ago I just could not get through the boring food and fell ‘off the wagon”. This time, I researched how I could have better meals and that is how I found you on YouTube. Getting the recipes has been a game changer for me. You are brilliant in how you put these together. The strawberry hand pies- unbelievable. And why have I never made a lemon slushie before! So satisfying.
Thank you for your informative YouTube videos and I love the access to the recipes. They are so good, that I am going to put them in my meal plan after the HCG is all over.

I am using all the recipes and loving it.
Great recipes and I don’t feel deprived or hungry.
I am a week into phase three and I am just using a cross between phase 2 and phase 3 foods.

I love and so appreciate the recipes! I’m down 18lbs in 4 weeks. I am strick though lol. I’m doing the 45 day injection and then taking a break to stabilize my weight.

So far, I’ve done several ground chicken Meatzas and the Chicken Daikon soup. Everything has been great!
I have a suggestion for the Meatza prep: use vinyl gloves! Just about everyone probably has a box from Covid, and it makes it SO easy to mix and spread the ground chicken for the crust. No more plastic wrap and rolling pin. Just spread it with your gloves hand.

I love the recipes and so does my husband which really helps me!! I don’t have to make 2 different meals. They are also so easy to make. Thank you so much!!

Thank you for the recipes and gorgeous photos!

I’m loving them so far! I’m doing alternate protocol through a medical office in my city. These recipes have helped me become more creative and increase the bulk of my food, as well as the satiety. Thanks!

I am loving the recipes and different use of ingredients, such as the meatza’s and the cheesy broccoli and chicken dish. I try something new each day and enjoy my meals and the creative ideas with the real simple food ingredients.
And by the way, the photography is excellent.

I aim to look at mostly SP recipes, but frankly if it looks good I will try it!! My VERY favorite as of right now is the chili! I made a big pot for the family and everyone really liked it! (I have my husband and 3 teens and I would like to not have to make separate meals so I try and incorporate what I am eating and add a carb or something more for them). The basil burgers were a hit.
I did try the meringues (chocolate) and, well- they didn’t come out as well as I hoped- I was seriously craving chocolate and being a “recovering” sugar addict- I wanted to tear the picture off the printed page and eat that! Perhaps will try again, but for now I can’t believe it, but I am craving eggs, avocado and salmon! Not Hershey nuggets!
By the way the Meatzas are awesome! I have done a variation of the mushroom/onion one and I tried my own toppings Margarita style (little bland to be honest).
I am still acquiring the correct seasonings (especially for curry etc).
– Melina

BTW I love all the recipes. Before I left I made a big pot of bison chili with fire roasted tomatoes. I could probably live on that. The recipes are great inspiration. I have been printing them off. I love all the tea and drink options too!!!

Love your recipes! Worth every penny in my book. I’m following AP, but still keeping calories between 500-600 a day, thanks to your recipes. Your sauces and dips are amazing! I love the Buffalo Chicken Salad, but I use shrimp instead and it’s out of this world. Egg drop soup? Yowser! Made lobster tail the other night and used some of the leftover sauce from Buffalo Chicken adding a teaspoon dill pickle sauce and didn’t miss my butter at all. Celery sticks in the afternoon with your Ranch Dressing help me get thru to dinner. Actually eating more veggies thanks to your recipes. Bell pepper rings, Apple Poppyseed Slaw, made the Applewood Smoked Sirloin and added Herbed Grilled Zucchini. Thanks to your recipes, videos, and reading everything I can find on your site I also have knowledge to experiment myself. Sliced some zucchini paper thin, air fried (no oil), and served with 1 serving of the tzatziki sauce. Wow. 😊. I’m a carboholic, not a huge sweet tooth person so this satisfied my salty/crunchy craving.
Making your IP Sirloin Fennel Stew tonight, can’t wait to try it.
Recipes are satisfying, and filling. I’m on day 10 and losing 1 pound a day so far.

I have had success with the hCG diet in the past but this time, even my P2 foods have made my husband jealous! That’s impressive for such a restrictive diet. I discovered lots of ways to make my food taste complex and flavorful with variety and beautiful presentation.

I am doing the SP recipes only for now. I was so glad I purchased the recipes! Just from the first glance, I knew they would be incredibly helpful. I was envisioning plain chicken and a bowl of cucumbers for 40 days and was concerned. All of the creativity is so appreciated.
– Leslie
April 8, 2021
I have been following the AP recipes for the most part on dinners, but the good ones so far for lunch meal prep have been SP or LSP. I already have the next 2 weeks of meals planned. I usually double your recipes for the whole family to enjoy. So far they are loving them, even my 14 yo! Let me tell you your recipes are a god-send! I do not have a creative bone in my body artistically or nutrionally! I couldn’t be successful and prepared as I am without your recipes! It does not feel like I’m sacrificing the foods I love! Thank you!

I wanted to thank you for all the work you have done in support of people on the HCG diet. Everything you have created is beautiful and so very thoughtful. When my doctor recommended HCG, there was just a list of foods. I found it challenging to find what a day of 600 calories and 30G of carbs would look like. It was a lot of heavy lifting for me. I turned to Pinterest where I first noticed your beautiful original photography and recipes. I listened to some of your podcasts before purchasing your P2 porgram and trying the recipes. I recall the interviewees stating that the flavors were so great. To be honest, I thought to myself, “here I am on this 600 calorie diet, I am sure it could not be THAT good!” I was wrong! Your fans (a group that now includes me) are spot on. I greatly appreciate all the International flavors you have incorporated. I love food and cooking. Heck, that is why I am on a diet! Thank you for making the journey, dare I say, somewhat enjoyable.

I just love the recipes. Much of what I’ve been using goes between LSP & AP depending on the recipes. You have made eating on hCG such an enjoyable experience. I always look forward to another recipe.
Each day I try to plan ahead so I know what I need upcoming. I search for what I’d like to eat or try, see if I have what’s needed and go to it. This makes this journey so enjoyable.

I have been following your work on HCG and I am so thankful for all the work you put towards helping all of us in this journey. I am enjoying the recipes, and your work is really helping in making this journey doable, again thanks. I am using the SP choice.

I love the recipes, thank you for what you do to make it as easy as possible! I used SP and LSP mostly but have tried a couple of recipes from the AP.
Thanks again!!

Just wanted to reach out and say thank for all these wonderfully comforting and HCG friendly recipes. I don’t even feel like I’m dieting and my need to cheat has vanished. The only problem now is that my entire family (5 of us in all) loves the dishes so much that I have to make HUGE batches to make sure we can all eat and I have leftovers for another day in the week. Not a bad thing. 🙂
– Lorrie

Hello Rayzel and team! I love the recipes! I used many of them for free when you were creating the P2 recipes. I send everyone that is wanting to lose weight to your website.
Thank you for all of the work in putting BOTH P2 and P3 recipes together!

Hello. I cook for a bunch of people. Started in Sept 2019. I was asked to do food for the HCG diet and had to find recipes. Well that has evolved and now cook these for other people as they are so tasty. I typically do the soups and stir fries and often change it up eg use beef instead of chicken and change the stock to match. I am using 8-10 recipes weekly so I am getting good use out of it.
Love the recipes.
– Shona
February 11, 2021
I want to say how much I appreciate all your knowledge that you share and encouragement. I have recently discovered your ‘meatza’ idea and am now enjoying my protocol meals much more. (My husband loves them too, as pizza crust tends to give him indigestion.)
– Frances

I am loving the recipes! It is my third round and this time with the recipes it is a lot easier because there is so much more variety!

I absolutely love these recipes! They are making this diet tolerable! So far the Ground Beef Quick Chili Recipe w/tomato is my favorite (but every recipe that I have tried has been good). I am using the SP recipes for now. I have 7 pounds left to loose and then on to your P3 recipes! Thank you so much for compiling all these wonderful recipes, it really makes a difference!
– Patty
January 19, 2021
As I was struggling with food choices for a new round of P2 I decided to try out your P2 recipes. I love them! It’s so nice to see variety with the same foods since I am following SP. Some times I’ll veer into LSP by adding some chicken stock or mixing veggies, but for the most part I try to stick with SP as much as possible.
– Kim
January 19, 2021
My friend and I are using SP & LSP mostly and incorporating AP once a week.
Your recipes are delicious and a welcome change to only SP.
I believe that the menu change has had a positive effect. We are both losing more inches this round and are definitely more excited to eat and satiated.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and recipes.

I’ve been using mix of the various types of meals. I really enjoy your recipes. My family favorite is the sirloin with the peaches, green peppers, red onions, etc… yum!
I’m finishing Phase 2 and will go on to a 3 week break during Phase 3 until I return to Phase 2 again. I lost 15 pounds in 21 days. Next, I will do the longer phase 2. I think I needed to do a short phase to get my mind wrapped around 500 calories.

I am so thankful for the recipes! The meatzas have saved my sanity and who knew that I liked radishes?! I am using mostly SP but, some of the others too. I am using plain yogurt instead of half of my fruit as you talked about doing in your book. That has been a game changer for me!
I am so thankful to have found your book, your site, this program, and your recipes!
– Caroline
October 11, 2020
I am loving the recipes, they are a life saver. I don’t think I could do this diet without them! As a matter of fact, I know I couldn’t. I tried HCG about 10 years ago and failed miserably. I had no guidance on how to cook using the limited choices. Regular diet & exercise have not been helping me, and I wanted to try HCG one more time.
I am using SP recipes and have lost a total of 18.8 lbs since Sept 28th! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! Now my only fear is stabilization when it comes to that time. I plan on completing at least 1 more round before I get to that point. I plan on only using SP recipes since they have been helping me be so successful with this diet.
– Michelle
October 10, 2020
Hi! I wasn’t sure if this was like a direct way to email you! I LOVE!!!!!! The recipes!!! I’m using mostly SP recipes right now but I have been throwing in a little bit of the AP just to kind of mix it up a little bit. The chicken meatballs and stuffed chicken muffins are amazing!!!! I even have my 5 year old enjoying some of the recipes. She really like the mustard chicken 😃
I am down 19 pounds since Sept 4th. Which is good. 😉 But your recipes have been a life saver ,I don’t think would have made it on cucumbers and fennel!! Lol. Thank you so much sharing you journey and all the hard work you put into sharing all the information. You are amazing🥰🥰🥰🥰.

I have followed you off and on for over 6 years and you are an inspiration. The people you have interviewed are an inspiration as well. I love how you have stabilized your weight and even struggled with it creeping up and enjoyed seeing how you handled it. We need to see that.
So…..when I started back up on the protocol I knew this recipe collection had to be good. And it was!! I do LSP. By the way, I love that you use fish sauce to boost flavor. Not many people know that trick. Works wonders for Caesar salad dressing too!!! Anyway, it was great in the French Onion soup which I had last night. Thanks so much for doing these recipes for us. They are a life saver and worth every penny!

Good morning from Florida,I’ve been using some of the P2 recipes. I really enjoyed the celery soup. Filling and has lots of flavor. I stayed with the SP selections. I didn’t purchase the recipes until about 3 weeks into HCG diet. I was desperate for variety in my meals…I was bored with what I was fixing. I’m ending P2 Thursday and will be in P3.
Regarding your P2 workbook. It is awesome. I’m the type that needs structure and I love the forms. I also did a lot of reading from your research and it gave me helpful hints so I was able to continue successfully. I would recommend subscribers to print it out and it’s in a 3-ring folder I had at home.
I enrolled into your P3toLife Program – reviewing many of your videos. Tomorrow I will go grocery shopping to get ready for P3.
Thank you again. I don’t feel I would have been as successful of 40 days on HCG without your assistance. Instead of dreading P3; I feel so much more confident with your P3 Program

I was so thankful I stumbled across your website last year!! I was sooooo tired of all bland options and recipes! I felt like I was eating the same thing for 3 weeks straight! (I could never have completed a 6 week round ) anyway! Your recipes make it possible for me to go all the way thru the 6 week round!! I always have to cook separate meals for my family, but what I’m having looks sooo much better to me. What also is great is it has given me a love for cooking! I’m always excited to find a new recipe to make! It’s motivating too! Again! Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into these recipes!! They are amazing!

Though I tried the these burgers, I think I need to try an apple that is a bit blander. I used the fugi and it’s flavor competed with the chicken and maple flavors resulting in less than happy eating.
Next I plan to try the celery chicken soup, cinnamon applesauce meatza and the cucumber meatwich.
I love your creative way of bringing together the “allowed” food items making meals that look and taste great minus any guilt.
Thanks so much!
When I slip, you are there encouraging me that I am not a failure and i CAN get back on eating yummy food.

SHRIMP CEVICHE SALAD for lunch this week and both were amazing. Love your creativity and delighting the taste buds with the limited ingredients on Phase 2. Your copies are soo great that I car easily mix them into my husband’s meals and just add a few more items for a delicious dinner for him too (he can eat sugar, pasta and carbs all day and not gain a pound).

Keep the Meatza recipes coming! I’m in the middle of my second round now and am 16.6 pounds down. I got such great success the first time that my husband is joining me this round- he was at risk of diabetes because he would eat so much sugar! He got a blood test yesterday and his A1C rating is back in the normal range.
We used to order pizza every Sunday and now I make the meatzas and we don’t feel deprived.
We can’t thank you enough!
I hope our story inspires you to keep creating!

This round of phase 2 HCG I followed your recipes and they were a game-changer. Phase 2 is never easy but I found it much easier to adhere to the protocol because I was able to look forward to your recipes for my evening meal. I am 5’9″ and before loading, I was 182 lbs (192 by the end of loading – impressive eh?). My LIW was 159.6 – and this morning I weighed in at 161.1

This time, I did a round of 8 weeks and yesterday was my last injection at goal! I wanted to share with you what worked for me because I decided to do the AP so I could have more variety. The last time I did the HCG diet I followed SP strictly, but I was miserable – all I ate was a piece of dry protein and veggies every day (agggh).
Your recipes saved my sanity! I loved most of them and actually enjoyed prepping my meals. My favorites are: InstaPot Beef Chili, Spicy Chicken & Asparagus soup, Chicken Banh Mi, Thai chicken Meatballs, Fried miracle rice, Asian ginger scallops, Taco salad, Lemon shrimp with Pesto, Chipotle Lime Shrimp w/ Cauli rice, and Sirloin Chimichurri & Fennel Fries, and I will continue to make those meals even after P3! I was so satisfied with the flavor and substance of my meals that I rarely had cravings for “bad food”.

I just made your P2 hCG apple and onion meatza recipe from the hcgchicarecipes site tonight and it was great! I usually eat very bland and utilitarian in P2 because, well I’m lazy….and your recipes give me a little flair I would never think of myself. Thanks Chica!

I LOVE this! Just made it the other night. A couple of yummy modifications I made as an FYI. To the shrimp add a dash of 5 spice powder and red pepper flakes. Gives it some spicy with the sweet! Thanks so much for these recipes. It makes my HCG-ing a bit easier.

I don’t know how this doesn’t have any comments yet! It’s amazing! I’m on day 2 and was sooo hungry after work. I had leftover chicken from last night and just threw in some garlic to roast. I don’t know how the calorie count changes but I doubled the amount of garlic in the soup and threw in some fresh rosemary from my garden as well. With the shredded chicken it made 4 cups total of soup. I had two cups and a nice spring mix salad with apple cider and vinegar and am stuffed. Delicious!!!!!

I made this today. And though it tasted great, I couldn’t get the crust to crisp up. I used ground turkey because I’m intolerant of chicken. I rolled it out to 8″ but it shrunk to about 6″ and I couldn’t put 1/2 cup of all the ingredients. Other then that it was wonderful. Thanks for all you do for us HCGers!

I made this for dinner tonight and it was great. It was my first time using miracle rice… Question – did you cook eggs first then stir them in? I also didn’t use as much amigos and I didn’t have fish sauce but the ginger added a nice kick

I didn’t have any fish sauce so I made it with some Japanese citrus dressing and for the veggies I only had fennel and onion. Sounds weird but better 2nd day. I would never have thought of using eggs. But I really enjoyed it. I am making it again tonight.

Hi! This recipe is just delicious! I have batch cooked many last week! I do have a question about confusion on this recipe. I decided to stick to the SP protocol & not use the red-peppers. I noticed that in the description for the AP it says the calorie per serving is 252 cal.

FYI I am doing a P2 round using only your new P2 recipes plus 2 fruits and 2 breadsticks and doing great. I keep my calories below 600. The recipes are amazing. My husband loves them too!

LATER… April 9
I’m 13 days and down 11.5 pounds. My first week tracked with all my other rounds (9-10 pounds including loading weight). On day 10 I usually have a stall – which I did this time too. Week 2 is a low weight loss and then it picks up again in Week 3. Everything seems to be the same. I was around 15 pounds above my LDW from 8 months ago. I was very curious to experiment with the recipes and see what would happen. I was only going to do the minimum 21 days but am enjoying the recipes so much that I’m going to keep going! My sister has done multiple rounds over the years. She can’t tell any difference with the AP program and her progress either. You nailed it with these recipes! I am also still eating 2 fruits (sometimes blueberries) and having 2 breadsticks a day. I am keeping track of calories and most days are below 600.

I can not thank you enough for these recipes. I was first on this diet about 6 years ago and the food was so boring and tasteless. It was a struggle to stay on, your recipes make it so much easier to stay on the program. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I made this, and to be honest I was a little suspicious of the chutney. I did not use the onion and used a green apple. Mine did not have the lovely pinkish hue that the one in the picture does, but I have to say, this recipe is sooooo delicious. Spicy, sweet, savory…so good. I will definitely be making this one again

Rayzel- I made this & it was delicious! I ended up putting it into the mini muffin trays & baking so that it created lil’ egg muffins & was easier to eat when on the “GO”. My only confusion is the serving size… It says 2 servings but what does the 2 servings entail? I really need to know this answer in the form of the mini muffin trays. If I weigh just 1 mini muffin on the scale, it’s generally about 2.2 oz. I am down 30 lbs & will be starting P3 maintenance soon & plan to purchase your plan. I just really enjoyed this specific dish & wanted to be for certain with the calorie/serving size. Thank you!!!

OMG – I made the cottage pie w/daikon radish last night…it was AMAZING! No way this feels like a restricted diet with delicious food like that – thank you thank you!!!! (by the way – I’m the lowest weight now that I’ve been in years – way back on track after my mishaps thanks to you and your team of support!) I will buy into the P3 to life plan as well…..you’re the best!

I used the herb, spice mixture with beef mince to make meatballs – very tasty. I only used 1/2 the parsley on a double batch (ie.1 tbs). Added in the tbs and thought it looked sufficient for the amount of mince. Will definitely make again.

OMG. This recipe saved me from giving up. I’m eating it right now. I didn’t have miracle rice in hand so I used tofu shirataki noodles but I only used about 5 to 6 oz instead of the 7 I would have used for the rice. I also was afraid of how salty the aminos would be so I only used 4Tbsp other than that, I followed the recipe and it taste so amazing thank you so much!! *Note- boiling the shirataki noodles for 3 minutes helps with minimizing the weird taste and smell but unfortunately, there’s nothing you could do about the fish sauce I was saying “there’s No Way I’m Eating This” but I closed my eyes and was pleasantly surprised

Made this last night and the filling was absolutely wonderful! Wasn’t crazy about the Daikon Mash though, it didn’t really whip up and the glucomannan made it gelatinous. I had some ground chicken to use up so subbed that in and used chicken broth, as I had that on hand as well. I will definitely be making this again in P3/P4, but will probably do mashed cauliflower at that point. Thanks for another great recipe!

I must take this opportunity to thank you for your free Ph 2 recipes: they saved my sanity. They are both easy to prepare (for my husband, who is the cook) and delicious. I don’t think I could have survived a 6 week program without them. Initially, I tried to stick to the SP recipes, but there just wasn’t enough variety, so I had one or two AP recipes that didn’t seem too off the plan that had been given to me by the clinic where they sold me the program and the hCG injections. But then I spoke to the nurse practitioner there, as she had recommended your site, and she said that both SP and AP are ok with their protocol. She said she normally recommends that clients stick with one-SP or AP-but she felt I was doing well enough to continue mixing both.

I made this for dinner tonight. It was very tasty! My mom always added rice to her stuffed cabbage so I added some Miracle Noodle Rice (it was actually the angel hair that put in in the chopper (after boiling and drying) to the meatball. It was much more substantial and filling. I like to feel full and his did the trick! Love your recipes! Makes my life so much easier!

Made this for dinner tonight and it was SO good! I had to improvise on the lettuce, I did not have butter lettuce so I use Romain. I decided to chop it up and put the sloppy joe mix all over the top. I have a question on the 1 cup of lettuce in the recipe. How many butter leaves might that be? So because I used Romain, I went to my trusty website: cookitsimply.com and put in lettuce to get measurements. 1 cup of lettuce is 75 grams or 2.6 ounces. When measuring one cup of lettuces, spinach, etc., I have always used this site to help me weight exactly what would be considered a ‘cup’ or ? of whatever foods I am using. I don’t see specifics as such in your recipes, so I wasn’t sure what the specifics are in the ingredient of lettuces etc. I did not do the AP option. Thank you so much for all the hard work that has gone into these recipes! I love to cook, am a detailed person, and so far the recipes are fun for me and very delicious!!

This soup was delicious and filling. I swapped out the half and half because I didn’t have it and used 1 tbs of greek yogurt. I also added 1/2 t of psyllium husk powder to make it a bit thicker. That was perfect.

Well you did an amazing job here, and I thank you for it. I’ll tell you a little secret: my husband has actually been jealous of my P2 food! I left him to fend for himself food-wise while I did this round of hCG, and he’s been ogling my meals and asking for little tastes, LOL. The recipes you’ve created here far exceeded my expectations.
I had previously ordered my hCG meals from two different local delivery services, at an astronomical price. Your recipes put both of those companies to shame. I’m actually kind of embarrassed that I wasted so much money buying ready made meals, when it took so little effort to prepare the P2 recipes on your site. Oh well, now I know better!

Yes! No setbacks from any of the AP ingredients in your recipes!
That’s what I meant by saying that I trust you…I totally understand that everyone is different, and that our bodies’ responses can vary widely. But if you’ve included an AP ingredient on your site, that at least lets me know that SOME people have had success with it…like, it’s not totally coming from left field! LOL
– Marisa
February 20, 2018
This is really, really good! I found it very filling, and the butter lettuce leaves made for a nice presentation. It was actually a little too rich tasting for me…I think the mushrooms were a bit much for me. You know how the taste buds change while on hCG, and you begin craving simpler food – I guess that’s what happened here LOL!

I think this is my favorite out of all of your recipes! Lemon and thyme is such a great flavor combination, and the Brussels sprouts are so satisfying to chew. This dish totally hits the spot. I doubled the lemon zest (because I believe you can never have too much lemon zest!), and added just a few sprinkles of celery salt to the chicken before cooking it… this was the perfect complement to the flavor profile of the dish.

Oh my goodness, this tastes amazing! This is one of my favorite ingredient combinations for salad, so I’m thrilled that you’ve adapted it for phase 2. The chicken marinade is genius… gave the meat so much flavor, and I’m going to use it again. Thanks for such a great recipe!

I made this with 99% fat free ground turkey and used chicken broth instead of the beef broth. I did not add the cauliflower. I also do not have an instant pot so I cooked it on the stove top. I LOVED it. My husband (he is not on the diet) LOVED it. My 16 year old who is very picky, LOVED it! Thanks

This soup is great! I did not use the carrots or noodles, and I admit I’m a little nervous about the zucchini, but I trust you completely Rayzel, so I’m sure it will work out fine. My only suggestion would be that I found the soup overwhelmingly peppery, so I’ll reduce the pepper by half next time. I added 1/4 tsp dried thyme, and a small sprinkle of shallot salt, but the seasonings as written are really nice.
– Marisa
January 31, 2018
This is delicious, Rayzel! Thank you so much. I did punch up the shrimp marinade a bit with some extra salt and seasonings. The tomatoes were delicious grilled. I reserved the marinade, and poured a little on top before reheating the dish. These skewers were far more filling than I expected them to be. Thanks again, girl!

These are LIFE… I have only had radishes raw and didn’t care for them and never thought to try them again. However, your photo was enticing so I thought, what the heck. Wowsers…These are a great alternative to potatoes. I hit mine with a spritz of Braggs liquid aminos when I put them on my plate and they were AMAZING. Thank you.. I just may be able to keep up with this diet.

I’ll admit I was nervous about this one because I’ve never tried cottage cheese before. But this is my adventure so I whipped it up exactly as written, chilled for an hour and dived right in. It was surprisingly refreshing. The Clementine and the spices were perfect and the celery kept the texture from being too mushy. I will have this again. Thanks Rayzel!

I have been so impressed with the depth and detail in your websites! Your food photos are absolutely inspiring. They have made a huge difference in my attitude towards food (and it’s perceived limitations) on this protocol. And, because I am not gifted in the kitchen, I sincerely appreciate every instruction you take the time to include. It’s helping me venture out of my box—eating grilled chicken, tomato wedges and apple slices for every meal.
Tonight I made the egg drop soup and it was delicious!!! It was quick and easy. Perfect on this snowy Michigan night. I’ve earmarked at least a dozen more recipes from your site that I want to try. Thanks for adding this unexpected excitement to my journey!

- After seeing this recipe, I made a similar version of it one night when I didn’t want to cook dinner. I used a large navel orange, some nonfat farmer cheese, and cucumbers (instead of celery) since I had those in the house. Very yummy and satisfying combination. Thank you for the idea!
2. Honestly I think your work is brilliant and it will make the P2 portion of the diet so much easier to follow. Thank you! This also looks amazing and is on my list for what to make next time I get groceries.

This was SO easy to make! I accidentally forgot the tomato paste in the meatballs, but they still stayed together pretty well! I LOVED the flavor of this dish and will definitely be making it again! I made this yesterday with a slight variation – i didn’t have bean sprouts or carrots so i just used some sweet peppers (like that package of a bunch of them in red, yellow and orange) and it was really good! Lemon and Dill are my absolute faves so this recipe sounded amazing! I did not have zucchini or cauliflower, but I did throw in spinach the last few seconds to have some greenery in there. - I was looking for hcg recipes (I already have your P2 and P3 workbooks – love them!!!!). I came across this first recipe and saw that I had the ingredients, so off to the kitchen I went. It’s like 0 in CT so I was cold and this looked yummy. I substituted with Sweet Leaf English Toffee drops (stevia) and yummmmm! I’m sitting here now scrolling through the rest of your recipes while sipping my cocoa. You are a lifesaver! ps adding a pinch of salt also brings out the flavors more and negates any bitter cocoa or stevia flavor. I did that and YUMMMMMM!
